NPPO declarations on Xylella-free Lavandula and Rosmarinus
To prevent the introduction and spread of Xylella fastidiosa, a plant-pathogenic bacterium, emergency measures are in place within the EU. These measures have recently been amended, and as of 1 July 2025, additional requirements (testing obligation and traceability code) will apply to Lavandula and Rosmarinus.

Royal Visit to Florensis Kenya
Naivasha, March 19, 2025 – As part of their state visit, His Majesty The King Willem-Alexander and Her Majesty The Queen Máxima of the Netherlands visited Florensis Kenya, a leading production company in the floriculture sector. This visit, followed by a visit by the Dutch trade mission on the 20th, highlighted the importance of sustainability and social responsibility in the sector, and recognizes Florensis as a pioneer in these areas.

She joined the company in 2017 and has since been responsible for worker Safety and Health, Environmental Compliance, and certifications for FAF's high-tech cuttings production location in Ejersa.
